This summer's trip to California couldn't have come at a more perfect time. Work has been crazy, and the weather has been worse. We were ready for some serious R&R by the beach for nine. whole. days.
We found a beach house to rent in Oceanside, and were excited when our good friends, the Schoens, decided to join us. Renting online has always proven to be successful for us, but until we arrive I typically have a tiny bit of anxiety about how everything will pan out. Fortunately, this year's rental was as good as always. Actually, it is much better. Our beach house is separated from the beach only by a small bluff. The backyard is a sandy oasis with a fire pit and hammock. When I peeked outside I
knew this was exactly what we all needed!
