Matthews to the Rescue!

Most everyone would agree that Madelyn's bedroom is adorable. Start it out with pink paint on the walls (thanks, Jeff) and then add a splash of color with some wall decals, a mountain-high shelf of stuffed animals, loads of books, and you have a girly-girl bedroom. But it just didn't seem complete, and we couldn't quite put our finger on it.

But then.... along came the perfect touch to her bedroom, compliments of Papa!

Grammy and Papa have been away all summer, and boy did we miss them! Madelyn was super-excited to see them last night when they stopped by for a little visit. Papa came bearing gifts, too, and Madelyn couldn't wait to see what it was.  (Papa, by the way, picked it out all by himself at the Packer Pro Shop, especially for Madelyn). It was Madelyn's very own Clay Matthews poster. And she made that clear. I asked her if I could please take it to work to hang on my wall there, and she adamantly said, "No, Mom. Papa got that for me."

We hung her Clay Matthews poster right in the middle of Madelyn's bedroom wall. She was so proud. And tonight, she even walked up to it and said, "Good night, Clay Matthews." haha That's my girl.
