This week was Spirit Week at Madelyn’s school, and today was “superhero” day. We weren’t really sure if Madelyn would even be able to go (she’s been sick again this week). So, after being fever-free for 24 hours yesterday, we realized we hadn’t given her superhero costume any thought. Thank goodness for Auntie Kim and Grammy! Auntie Kim quickly searched Pinterest (see, it’s not just me – wink) where she found some great examples using tutus. Madelyn’s best tutu by far is her sparkly Packer tutu, so we decided she should be Packer Girl, the All-American Football Superhero! We came up with this plan at Grammy’s house, where there is never a shortage of Packer fabric. I mean, really. You never know when you’ll need a superhero cape! So Grammy literally whipped up a cute cape in about 10 minutes! Chris printed a few logos that he glued to contact paper and stuck to her leotard, and wristlets. And here you have it…the perfect little superhero!
