Even though Madelyn’s birthday party isn’t until next Sunday, we wanted her to have something to look forward to on her actual birthday. So to celebrate, Chris and I got to spend lunchtime with her at school. And of course, since she doesn’t get McDonald’s all that often, she chose a Happy Meal with chicken nuggets for lunch. We had a great time hanging out with her! We brought one of Madelyn’s very favorite treats, ICE CREAM, for each of the kids. We brought the individual ice cream cups as well as toppings so the kids could make their own “sundae.” Chris and I didn’t stay for ice cream, but Madelyn said it was a hit!
Madelyn also got to choose where she wanted to go for dinner. She quickly chose Macayo’s because, according to her, “Grammy and Papa would probably come then, too.” J
Grammy & Papa brought two huge balloons and homemade cupcakes. Madelyn even got a serenade by the Macayo’s crew. She was especially excited by the sopapilla that gave her when they finished her birthday song!
