Face Painting

Ever since Madelyn's 3rd birthday at Legoland last year, she has been obsessed with having her face painted. As a special treat for Valentine's Day, we let her get some hearts painted on her face. Watching the video makes me laugh because this whole face painting bit is quite the serious business. At first glance, you'd think we were forcing her to do it because she looks less than enthusiastic about it. Know that her quiet and very still posture is all part of her plan. She doesn't want to move in fear that the artist will mess up and she'll end up with a picture of something she doesn't want.
